Nam June Paik

The İstanbul Biennial will be hosting the work “Life” by Nam June Paik, who is celebrated as the world’s first video-artist. Born in South Korea in 1932, this great master left behind countless works produced by a multitude of methods before his death in the USA, in 2006. In this piece, Nam June Paik displays his subjective manipulations of the covers of the famous “Life” magazine. The project will be displayed at Antrepo No. 3 throughout the Biennial.
